Lower it all the way at night for full coverage, or roll it up into the cassette and the whole window is yours again.
A west facing room is a great place for Banded Shades. Close the solid bands and the glare comes off the TV in the afternoon, then open them back up after dinner when the sun goes down. Bands come in heights from 3 to 5 inches, and your Design Specialist will help you choose the size that suits the height of your windows. With a motor, you can save your favorite band position as a scene and hit it the same way every time.
There are a couple of things we always explain before you order. With the shade closed, the solid bands butt up against each other instead of overlapping, so some light slips through, and light dimming fabrics don't make a room fully dark.
