Fixed Screens In Peoria
Fixed Screens in Peoria, IL
A covered deck or porch is easy to screen until you get to the triangle under the gable, the arch, or the angled opening beside the fireplace. Our Solar Shield Blinds Fixed Screens are built on site to fit those specialty shaped openings in Peoria homes, and they keep your view clear without adding vertical or horizontal supports.
Where It Fits In Peoria
Odd Shaped Openings, From Bluff Decks To Backyard Porches
Fixed Screens cover the openings a shade isn't a good fit for: arches, angle tops, triangles, other odd shapes, and the small, skinny openings at the ends of a porch.
- Gables Over A DeckThe triangle above a covered deck lets in bugs and leaves, and a Fixed Screen fills it to the peak with no support bars across the view.
- Paired With Patio ShadesWhen your main openings have Exterior Patio Shades, we can use the exact same screen in the Fixed Screens, with track hardware in the same colors.
- Porches Beside A FireplaceAngled openings around a stone fireplace or chimney get a screen cut to their exact shape on site.
- Skinny Side OpeningsNarrow openings at the end of a porch close off with a Fixed Screen, so the whole space keeps the bugs out.
Built On Site
Cut to your openings and rolled in tight
We don't order Fixed Screens from a size chart. Our Install Techs cut the Solar Shield Blinds Fixed Screen track to fit each opening on your Peoria porch or deck, then roll the screen in with a heavy duty spline for a taut, clean fit.
You choose how open the screen is. Tuff Screen is our standard bug screen, Tuff Screen No See Um has a tighter weave for the smallest insects, and there's a 70% bug screen plus 80%, 90% and 95% solar screens. The 95% matches the exterior patio shade screen we most commonly use, which is the one to pick if your porch has shades too.
The finished screens stand up to the harsh wind we get in the Midwest, and they help keep bugs, rain, snow, wind, leaves and other debris out of your outdoor living space. Your Design Specialist will look at every opening at the consultation and show you which ones take a Fixed Screen and which ones suit a shade.
