Fixed Screens In Washington
Fixed Screens in Washington, IL
On a lot of covered decks in Washington, Illinois, the big openings are easy to screen and the triangle up under the roofline is the hard part. Our Solar Shield Blinds Fixed Screens are cut on site to close off those triangles, arches and angled openings, without vertical or horizontal supports blocking the view.
Where It Fits In Washington
Where Fixed Screens Fit In Washington
Fixed Screens cover the shapes a shade can't, on covered decks and porches across Washington and up in Metamora.
- Gable TrianglesThe open triangle above a covered deck gets one screen cut to its exact shape.
- Narrow End OpeningsSmall, skinny openings too tight for a shade get a Fixed Screen so bugs can't slip in around the edges.
- Alongside Patio ShadesYour Fixed Screens can share the screen fabric of your Exterior Patio Shades, and the track comes in the same colors, so the porch looks like one system.
- Screened PorchesArches and angle tops on a screened porch get a clean fit with no bars across the opening.
Screen Options
Six screen choices, cut and rolled in on site
Tuff Screen is our standard bug screen, and Tuff Screen No See Um has a tighter weave for the smallest insects. The 70% screen keeps bugs out too, and the 80%, 90% and 95% are solar screens, with the 95% matching the screen we use most on Exterior Patio Shades.
Every Fixed Screen is built on site, at your home. Our Install Techs cut the track to each opening on your porch and roll the screen in with a heavy duty spline, so it stays taut and stands up to the Central Illinois wind.
A porch with several openings gets a plan for each one, with an Exterior Patio Shade that raises and lowers on the wide spans and Fixed Screens on the odd shapes. Your Design Specialist walks the porch with you and maps it out opening by opening, so bugs, rain, leaves and debris stay out of the whole space.
