Where It Fits In Champaign
Where Sliding Screens Fit In Champaign
From the older homes around Clark Park to the newer neighborhoods in Robeson Meadows, Cherry Hills and Sawgrass, we screen the doors people use every day.
- Front Doors Without A Storm DoorSliding Screens don't require the framing of a traditional door system, so they work where a swing screen door won't.
- Patio Doors By The PondsOpen the slider to the yard and keep the bugs from the pond outside.
- Bi-Fold DoorsLarge Opening Sliding Screens span up to 12 feet, or 24 feet in a double configuration.
- Pivot And Outswing DoorsDouble doors of every kind, including pivot and outswing doors, take a pair of Sliding Screens.
How They Work
Top and bottom tracks, a housing to the side, and a clear view
Each Sliding Screen pulls across the opening on a top and a bottom track for smooth, stable operation, and on French doors the two screens meet on a center magnet strip. When you're done, the screen goes back into its housing beside the door frame.
We build every screen to the exact size of your door in Champaign, up to 9 feet tall, with single doors up to 65 inches wide and French doors up to 130 inches. Large Opening Sliding Screens go up to 10 feet tall and come with adjustable track stops and an optional retained screen.
Your Design Specialist will go over the honest details too. The bottom track creates a low threshold to step over, the tracks need lubricated several times a year, and the screen can appear wavy depending on perspective.
