Sliding Screens In Decatur
Sliding Screens in Decatur, IL
The homes of the Decatur Historic District were built from the 1850s through the 1920s, and a modern storm door can look out of place on a front entry from that era. Our Solar Shield Blinds Sliding Screens retract into a housing beside the door frame when you aren't using them, so you get the breeze without changing the look of the door.

Before You Order
What to expect from a Sliding Screen
Every Sliding Screen runs on top and bottom tracks, and the bottom track is required, so there's a low threshold at the door. The tracks need lubricated several times a year to keep them running smoothly.
The screen can appear wavy depending on perspective, and a retained screen shows more waves because of the zipper weld. Your Design Specialist will go over both with you so you know exactly what you're getting.
We build each screen to the exact size of your door, up to 9 feet tall, in 8 standard or 18 custom colors with 3 handle options. Your Design Specialist measures every door at your Decatur consultation, and our Install Techs fit the screens and show you how they work.
