Fixed Screens for Decks and Porches in Platte City, MO
Our Solar Shield Blinds Fixed Screens close the odd shaped openings on a Platte City deck, porch or pergola that a patio shade can't cover, built on site and rolled in tight.
Where It Fits In Platte City
Where Fixed Screens fit in Platte City
Covered decks, patios under a walkout deck, screened porches and pergolas all have openings that are too small or too angled for a shade.
- Gable ends on covered decksPatio shades cover the main openings, and the triangle under the roof peak stays open. A Fixed Screen closes it.
- Patios under a deckThe short openings between the deck posts and the house on a walkout home take Fixed Screens cut to each one.
- Pergolas with angled sidesA pergola with sloped sides takes Fixed Screens with the track cut to each angle on site.
- Worn screened porchesAn old screened porch can take new Fixed Screens in a tighter bug weave or a solar screen.
Worth Knowing
Screens built on site, matched to your shades
Our Fixed Screens are built on site to your openings. We cut the track to fit each one, then roll the screen in with a heavy duty spline for a taut, clean fit that stands up to the hard Midwest wind. They keep out bugs, rain, snow, leaves and other debris, and the system adds no vertical or horizontal supports across the opening.
Many Platte City decks and porches use both products. Exterior Patio Shades take the large openings and come down when you need them, and Fixed Screens close the gable end, the angled sides and the gaps beside the posts. We can use the exact screen your shades use, and the track comes in the same colors as the shade hardware, so the whole space looks like one system.
The screen options are a standard bug screen, a no-see-um weave, a 70% bug screen, and 80%, 90% and 95% solar screens. The 95% is the screen most of our patio shades use, so it is the usual match beside them. Your Design Specialist measures each opening on the free visit, and the quote holds for 180 days.
